The main “mindset” of the manager who wants to capitalize on his experiences is responsibility. The manager must not only take decisions, he must ensure that they are followed through.
The manager in organizations exists because we know that plans will not come true as we expected. Risk analyzes will make it possible to minimize the problems that may arise, but in no way eliminate them. Unforeseen situations remain and it is for them that the manager must take action.
The manager who, when an unforeseen event occurs, says “it’s my fault” will put himself in a position to find solutions to continue to move forward and reduce the effects of his non-compliant situations or even eliminate the causes if he there is a possibility of recurrence.
On the other hand, someone who puts the blame on others, the means, the environment, etc. will externalize the situation and therefore will wait for others to solve the problem. In this he puts his destiny in the hands of others and therefore will WAIT & SUFFER.
TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENS TO ME IS NOT EASY, but who said managing, & driving had to be easy.
Upon arrival, the person who has taken responsibility in the event of failure or success will have won because he or she will have acquired the possibility of learning and therefore of increasing their experience, which will never be the case of the person or the one who waits.
